Welcome to SSSP Student's Corner!

My name is Lilian Dindo and I am your student representative to the SSSP board of directors for the 2007-2009 term. I am a clinical psychology graduate student at the University of Iowa currently completing my internship at the University of Wisconsin- Madison, Department of Psychiatry.

As you may know, the next SSSP meeting will be held in New Orleans in 2009. The board is currently trying to finalize the specific dates and venue. Please feel free to contact me with suggestions for the meeting in New Orleans or for the society in general and I will pass on your comments to the board members.

Some possibilities for the New Orleans meeting include having a student social, setting up a student poster/presentation award, and/or arranging specialty lunches/dinners. If you have any comments or other suggestions, please feel free to contact me.

We are currently trying to build the student section of the SSSP website. If you are interested in being part of a Student Web Committee, please contact me or Dr. Eva Kimonis. Our goal is to create a corner where you can obtain information about student opportunities and activities and visit links to useful websites.
