The Department of Applied Psychology at the University College Thomas More in Antwerp is very much looking forward hosting the SSSP-conference. Thomas More is the largest University College in Flanders, Belgium.
Antwerp is with over 1.7 million tourists the third most visited city in Belgium. And this number is growing each year. First of all, Antwerp is famous for its port. It is the second largest port in Europe and one of the fastest ports in the world. Secondly, Antwerp has uncountable architectural, historical and cultural attractions. Antwerp is also famous for its diamonds, and is often called the city of diamonds, because it is regarded as the Diamond Centre of the world. And last but not least, Antwerp is famous for its numerous designer shops and beer pubs!
The University College Thomas More, where the conference will be held is in walking distance from the city centre (only 1.2 miles) and from several major hotels and youth hostels.
