Conferences are biennial. These focus on up-to-date research in the field of psychopathy and include a broad range of issues. They are designed to encourage and facilitate discussion with other researchers, legal professionals, and clinicians.
In 2009, we held a preconference workshop on Psychopathy and the Law, sponsored by The John T and Catherine D MacArthur Foundation Law and Neuroscience Project. The focus of this preconference was on the intersection between legal issues and psychopathy (definitions and conceptualizations of psychopathy, causes, and neuroscience with implications for the law).
